On September 29, 2024 Cross-Strait (Putian) Crafts Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Cross-Strait Art Fair") opened at Putian Arts and Crafts City. 

The exhibition gathered tens of thousands of fine crafts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and invited nearly 100 national craft masters to jointly create an art feast across the Strait.

Under the theme "Ingenuity Carves the Soul, Quality Enriches Life" and taking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China as an opportunity, this year’s fair highlights works by cross-Strait craft masters in wood carving, furniture, gold & silver jewelry, oil painting, incense art and other fields. By creating an artistic living atmosphere, it aims to build a "Chinese City of a Better Life" and establish a national cultural exchange platform for arts and crafts across the Taiwan Strait.
